As our network has expanded, so too have the diverse needs of the professional women we strive to support and represent. Whether you attend activity to network and do business, socialise and build new relationships based on trust, or find a group of people that can mentor, guide and support you, we have designed a variety of activities that we hope will meet your needs.

We are not a traditional membership organisation, so do not charge membership fees. We want you to attend and get involved with the activity that suits you and build the business relationships you need. We support you facilitate connections that will grow your business and professional careers through a different range of activities suited to your budget.
Some of our 2012 activities include;
Network Fridays take place every Friday of the month from 10:30am till 12:00pm come rain or shine across the South Yorkshire region. Join us in Doncaster on the First Friday, Rotherham / Sheffield on the Second and Barnsley on the Third. You are likely to always meet new faces. Set in an informal and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of coffee or tea as well as comfy sofas, this networker (priced at £5) is ideal for anyone new to Icon Women who wants to break into networking across South Yorkshire. Link n Learn takes place on a 6 weekly basis and are designed to combine networking with a business development focus with sessions focusing on tackling the challenges women face in business with practical learning techniques. Over a two hour period you’ll be taken through a series of exercises, interactive table discussions, as well as feedback and discussion about key topics. The Link n Learn formats combine plenty of movement around the venue. We’re still aiming to keep the networking environment relaxed with the additional emphasis on ensuring you leave with plenty of new contacts. You also asked for healthy, value for money lunchtime meals. We’ve sourced some great local restaurants all keen to support Icon Women.
Icon Women Seminar. Just as one size does not fit all, neither do the different issues affecting women in business. Our affordable seminar workshops are delivered by industry experts on specific or generic themes targeting common questions affecting women at different stages of their professional careers. These seminars are designed to inform and address your common questions as well as still expand your network of contacts. Not all seminars will be of relevance to you, but keep checking on the themes that crop up just in case!
Icon Women workshop. The Icon Women network is made up of many highly qualified professionals in specific fields. These professionals are at the heart of delivering these sessions. With no more than 25 people attending Icon Workshops at any one time these sessions are practical, challenging as well as a forum for discussion. Aimed at addressing day to day issues these workshops strive to provide a solution to common problems with the aim of removing any barriers you face.
The Big Lunch events take place twice a year. They aim to bring the whole network together over a two course sit down meal. Previous Big Lunches have included topical national and high profile speakers and between 80 – 100 of you have attended to network and learn something new.

Joint partner initiatives. There are many national and local organisations delivering well developed and specifically targeted services for professional women. As our network has grown so too has the demographic, the variety of different business ambitions, personal circumstances as well as specific needs that it makes sense to partner with these expert organisations in Doncaster. Keep your eye out for our new partner initiatives in 2011.
